Everyday Breakfast Week-Day 5

In my collage days my mom use to give me this in breakfast during summers...another favorite of mine


Today's Menu

Lachha Paratha with dahi







Ingredients:

Wheat flour one n half cup
Salt 1/2 table spoon
Ajwain / carom seeds small quantity
Water for kneading

Method:

  • At first add salt and ajwain in wheat flour and knead it in to a dough with the help of a water.
  • Now take some of the dough in hand and make small balls.
  • Roll out the balls in to chapati shap.
  • Apply some ghee (clarified butter) on it and sprinkle some of a wheat flour over it.
  • Now roll it from the edge in to a roll shape and apply some ghee on it again roll it back in to a circle.
  • Again roll it out in to a paratha using roll pin.
  • Heat tawa, put the paratha on the tawa.
  • Roast well from both sides by applying little bit of ghee.
  • serve it hot with curd
