Veg-Poha with Sweet Lassi
Ingredients:
For Poha
Flattened rice (soaked n drained with water before cooking)
Flattened rice (soaked n drained with water before cooking)
Potato cut in to small cubes
Onion cut in to small piece
Green chili cut in to small piece
Curry leaves
Mustard seeds-1 table spoon
Ground-nuts roasted/fried
Lemon slice
Red chili powder
Salt as per taste

Sugar-half table spoon
Roasted cumin powder
Roasted cumin powder
Garam masala (spices powder)
For Sweet Lassi
Fresh Curd
Sugar as per your taste
Ice-cubes
Method:
Poha
- Heat a deep pan and pour four spoons of oil in it.
- At first fry ground-nuts till red and take it out, keep aside.
- Then take potato cubes and fry them till golden brown, take it out and keep it aside.
- Now add mustard seeds, let them split.
- Quickly add green chili, curry leafs,onion in to it...stir it till onion gets golden brown.
- Now add soaked and drained poha / flattened rice in to it...mix well.
- Add salt, turmeric(if you want), red chili powder and sugar.
- Mix it well...at the last add Garam masala and roasted cumin powder.
- Serve it with a lemon slice and sprinkle some aloo bhujia/namkeen over it.
- Take fresh curd in Blender.
- Add some sugar and ice-cubes.
- Vanilla essence- 2-3 drops (optional)
- Blend it well.
Seems delicious ...I wanna come there right away and have a bite :).
