Friendship: For Reason or Season

The thing which I love to do every morning after waking up is to have a glance of my little garden.Seriously it gives me such a pleasure to see cute cute flowers smiling back at me.Today, Delhi morning was really refreshing and windy. Suddenly I saw something like white cotton balls, scattered all over the grass...it was actually the seeds of red silk cotton tree, the tree was going through the process of pollination and signaling the change of season also...it's a nature's way to tell us that, "darling it's time for a change, move on".
Yes season changes that for reason also...this one sentence gave me some food for thought.

Thought about the friendship and friends. friendship is like a season which comes and goes but friends come in your life either for a reason or for a season.... what you think? Well I know everybody may have different opinion on this but I can't think beside these two. Reasons intentionally can be good or bad but friendship seasons are always pleasant. This season may arrive many times in everyone's life and so it did in my life too. Those were the best days of life at school, college right? School was okay but in college I was not just a student but also the DKB (as my friends named me "Director ki beti") oh! yes my father was the director of our college, so what, I have worked hard to behave like a normal student honestly! but some people never understood how the things were for me and in that case they became my friends for a reason. But still some of my class fellows were jewels..they understood me well and good.

I had good friends in school F-season(friendship season) but when college's F-season started school friendship got blurred.Same when college got over College friendship got blurred. Face to face meeting converted in to phone conferencing. Now days everybody believes in social networking of Facebooking to be precise :) People are just too much, I mean my friends if they live in the same city even then they never try to meet up. Well I'm not complaining about anyone but still...

Four months I had stayed in Mysore with my bubbly friend...we were like the best-est friends over there, we had real-time fun. But Mysore season also passed away and we became phone pals and that too is not working these days. lolzz....I am not complaining but still...

Everyone is busy in their life...don't know in what ways but still...we were friends. I cherished all of them and the moments spend together. school days were fun, college days pranks were great. But still....they can turn up sometimes na...recently saw three of my college seniors had a get together obviously on FB, their pictures were saying the story of the fun they had. Honestly I was happy to see that but but but got jealous too ;).
Today people think that I am a less spoken person but smart one. Yes I agree about less spoken n smart but sometimes I can't even listen to my mouth to give it a rest. It's just I didn't get the company. I can understand aliens too yaar but need time!

But now I have learnt this.. friends come for a season and pleasure you for a limited period or the vice versa just be chill...be happy and live lavishly, be a friend indeed too. All you friend of mine out there, if you are reading this then, please be happy and cherish me and yes you can call me anytime whenever you need my help. Thanks for being my friend. :) I can understand time changes and things too. But still.... Be Friends!!

A Track For The Sun God

30th November 2009...It was the pleasant morning when we started the journey. Leaving behind a warm good-bye to wholly Himalayan ranges significant there in Ranikhet and heading to Almora the city of ancient temples. Along with the family members..me-hubby,his elder brother n wife, including two cheerful kids...the journey was totally unplanned.

Brother-in-law had heard about the ancient Katarmal Sun temple located somewhere around in the outskirts of Almora which is the second most important sun temple after konark and had collected good enough information about it on net....

An experienced man may lead you to the destination safely, but the believer leads you to the destination with gratification.

Yes this very quote defines him finely....though he is an experienced man but he is a believer too, and that day he was playing the believer. moving up-n-down through the hills..we finally pulled down our car in front of a narrow, rocky path going up to hill, at its starting point there was a corroded board on which,"Way To The Sun Temple" written with an arrow directed up.

We were still not sure that, is it the same temple we are looking for? and on the other hand by looking to the path half of the members decided not to track up...in case if this not turned to be the same temple then what!.. all waste!!....but bro-in-law assured us that this is the right one and we started tracking after making some arrangements for our car (parking your car safely on hills is a tough job, but my hubby is expert in that

Starting is always good but after some clock rotation it becomes heavy and tiring....but then we saw some locals tracking down, seemed like some celebration they had up there and were coming back. This obviously boosted our hope level,"yes we are on the right path". After some more clock rotations we heard some weird noises...like something big is coming down(no rocks,no landslides and no any other big danger) you won't believe what we saw...A Santro car rolling down from above stretch of track....we were like wow! okay great!

After many more tracking steps we reached up there on hill and we saw there is no temple, but there were a small village up there..we asked some kids,"Is there any Sun temple here". No response...we were so confused and thinking what to do...then suddenly Bro-in-law saw an ancient ruminants far away on another hill-top. "But where is the way", he said...then we saw a narrow track going up to that hill which was about 400 meter.

We have already made about 1-2 km up to the village rest 400 meter more to go for the temple...again half of the members raise their hand,"No way..we can't make it now". But me and bro-in-law keep on encouraging them, "it's just 400m, we can do this...we have come across this much , now we can't go back..if we go back then we will regret it whole life". They agreed finally and we start our tracking again with more hopes and joy of finding the temple. Kids were happy too...

Finally we were there...we can see the temple, it was old the 9th century Architecturally, made up of stones instead of bricks.Sculptures, carved pillars and wooden doors lend an artistic touch to the temples.

It was beautiful. We have made it finally..this feeling was unique we were happy. Before reaching to your destination, many thoughts come to your mind but when u finally reached there, you have nothing to say. Just to sit quite and see around and feel the moment.... I think just one sentence can describe this whole unplanned trip

First Adventure Act Of My Life

Sharing about my first adventure act here doesn't mean that m not that adventurous in nature...infact I'm really open to these opportunities, which comes once in a while.....though I happened to be on adventure trip earlier(not in exact sense adventurous) like tracking up to the Katarmal ancient sun temple in Almora...but that wasn't in my adventure shoes though(I mean to say without tracking pants, backpack, sunglasses...how can u be a tracker!) so I can't count that one here. But this time I was on well planned camping n rafting trip to Rishikesh.

At sharp 4 O'Clock in the morning my cell phone's alarm started ringing...I woke up but shut it off n gone back to sleep, but my inner voice as always started giving me lectures n I have to wake up again..in a short time(for me its an hour) I was ready to go on....I woke up my Husby to get ready too n 5:30 in the morning we started.....in the middle we picked up our friend couple n again we started our journey.

We were heading to Rishikesh the gateway to Himalaya and the city of temple, yoga n meditation and famous for white water rafting, hiking n tracking. The spectacle of the Ganga rushing through the Himalayan foothills is an awesome sight to experience there. We reached there around 12 p.m.

We have booked two tents on the bank of Ganga near shivpuri via Wunderlust travels. We reached the camp site, claim our tents n just sat by the river, pleasing the beauty of the nature. It was the greatest experience of having the sense of cool breeze on the face while the foots are in the water that too when the stroking sun is over your head its a wildest combination ...right!!!. After having lunch we got ourselves ready for the main act...The Rafting.

There were only four of us on the raft of course with the one guy who guide us through rapids, He was like the Captain of our small raft. We have to follow up his instructions and commands and it goes like this, " Team row forward", "Team row backward ", "Team drop in" (to drop in the raft for safety, as we have to sit on the edges) and my favorite command, " Team relax" (u feel heaven when u hear this command after rowing continuously and ur hands are paining like hell )...well after rowing for a while we started facing rapids, though there are up to 7th level of rapids but we have faced only up to 3rd level. The Money maker, three Mouse and the body surfing were the names of the rapids.

After crossing money maker our captain said,"If you want you can swim here" then what guyz quickly jumped in to the water as they were waiting for the moment.Their move actually instigate me and I too jumped in......God! it was soooo chilling man!...I was happy..happy for myself coz I did it...that was the day of achievement.Rafting took whole 1 hour and it was purely fun.But as it is said,"there is no gain without pain".

Pain!!!! it was horrible, I was screaming mutely laying down on my bed in the tent at midnight. Oh! God my leg , my arm, my back please relief me, I will never go for rafting again...but it won't help until I swallowed up a painkiller. Next morning I woke up in the nature's lap with no pain but the only gain. It was the amazing trip, fully enjoyed.
