Every time I logged in to my FB account I have fear of catching some heartbreaking flashing news on my news feed from various animal welfare pages I have liked.First it happened with me when I saw Star:The dog who lived page and today it occur again with the dog name Patrick.
The story of Patrick is mournful...as I read an article about it and it says Patrick was found horribly emaciated in a trash bag lying in garbage chute.Patrick's body was cold and his owner starved him to near death. A maintenance worker cleans out the bin and found him struggling for life.the City of Newark Animal Control was contacted and ACO Arthur Skinner picked up the dog and brought him directly to the Society. The veterinary staff immediately put him on intravenous fluid. His temperature was so low that it did not even register on the thermomenter. He was covered with heating pads and blankets. Society vet tech Gina DeSalvo held the pit bull in her arms -- she soothed him, gave him warmth, comfort and bits of food. From that moment on, he looked up with gratitude in his eyes to all of the staff.
After a brief time at the Society's Newark facility, he was ambulanced to Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls -- a referral hospital with 24 hour emergency care. If he died during that night, we feel he would know that everyone loved and cared about him and treated him gently and lovingly. He amazed everyone at the Society and at Garden State by surviving with the 24 hour emergency care that they rendered. He was given a blood transfusion, a bath -- and even a walk! In honor of the first day of his re-birth, we call him Patrick -- in honor of St. Patrick's Day and we hope he has the luck of the Irish!.
Patrick was found in this condition
After 24hrs of medication
And Patrick today
Today Patrick is recovering so well and look so handsome and cute. Some people are so cruel, they can't feel the pain and suffering of innocent one.God knows everything and they will pay for it for sure.
Every living creature struggle for life untill the last breath.Whenever a human struggling for life in the hospital, docs gives their best to save him.But whenever we saw any animal struggling for life why we just say,"Oh! it's going to die", and move on. Why not to save it's life then. They also want to live.God has giving the right to live to everyone.
Please please from now on-wards if you see any street, petted animal struggling for life, try to save it's life. This is so beautiful feeling when these innocent creature, unable to speak give you warm love with no strings attached. They just want love to live.
I love you Patrick, you are blessed and my best wishes are with you always.
