Inspired By You...

Yesterday was really hard day for me...got sick and spent whole day on bed, surprisingly my parents came over to see me.... after meeting them half of the sickness of mine gone away.At night me and hubby were invited for a casual dinner,by one of us friend couple Manu and Shivani. We got ready to leave,by the time we were reaching to their place me and hubby had a small chit-chat fight in a car and it didn't end properly after reaching to their place.

The moment we entered in their house we both forget our fight just by seeing their home....which was kept so nicely and decorated with cute-cute smalls things.I like these kind of houses which are clean and kept nicely(point to ponder here is:nicely kept houses reflects some good part of the person's heart).I was so happy and only one word came out of my mouth and that was "beautiful"...in reply they said,"we got inspired by you..the way you use to keep the house".(actually we use to live in same kind of houses before moving to the current one) It was glad to listen that!...but after touring the entire place only one thought came in my mind and that was, now I'm inspired by you guys.

During the snack session they served us some awesome Cold-coffee and great looking Garlic-breads which were luscious and self-cooked by Shivani. Here is a small glance of it(though some of them were already in our stomach)

Everything was good I had a great time and discovered some new traits of the Good-Looking Couple. Thanks a lot guys really appreciate your hard work over this supper.

After leaving their house happily we went in search of our old pal the Rocky(rocky was our street pet dog when we use to live there) we looked for him through out the campus but we didn't find him. He might be hiding somewhere,so we decided to meet him next time and in this way we ended our pending fight also and at the end of the day we slept in peace.

Women Vs Women Still

"Arre! Mrs.Sharma's daughter-in-law is expecting, fifth month is going on. It's a boy!, I'm telling you, I have seeing her womb!",said Mrs.Maheshwari. "Ya last time she gave birth to a girl, chalo this time Mrs.Sharma will be fortunate enough to hold her grand-son",said Mrs.Verma.

Almost in every society,Aunties like Mrs. Maheshwari and Mrs.Verma are living and having a daily routine of such chit-chat sessions over the expecting daughter-laws of the society. Where they feel themselves fortunate on a birth of a grand-son and gather to give condolence to a women like Mrs. Sharma on a birth of a grand-daughter.

Whenever I visit to my in-laws, the neighboring aunties are more worried than my mother-law,that when I'm going to announce the most awaited "good-news" to them. Whenever I touch their feet,I'm blessed to have a boy.It seems that they are granting me a sanction to give birth only to a boy, girls are not to seen from the Everest also.I feel very sad, why only boy? what girls have done to them? Two months back my cousin sister gave birth to a girl and on this my grand-ma got so worried that she refuses to go and see her, not even my grand-ma.I have heard similar stories involving all those orthodox grand-ma(s) and mother-laws.

I don't understand this world have changed, time have changed,food,life-style.....everything but one thing in this part of world cannot change and that is the girl child cannot come in this world without permission.

Two days back my maid asked me a leave from work, because she wanted to take her both the son to visit those famous temples, and thank God to blessing them with a boy they wanted.Beside those boys, my maid also have five daughters and while she is out with her sons those little girls were at home doing work and cooking their food for life. Well I don't think that I need to add more hiccups in the row to tel how women are against women. This is well studied research and well telecast subject on television these days.

I feel good when I see one of my friend keep on going for vacations along with her other married sisters, I just love to see their photos when they upload them, they all look good together,so happy and charming. This is how a sisterhood is, and I wish this is how a women-ship should be.Sometimes I feel, If I had a sister, then it would be more fun in life (though I have a best brother and sister-in-law in the world,we all love each other)But sometimes girl needs a girl to share their feelings like my mom do with her sisters....lol

But I seriously convey this message to everyone please no more backing girl's rights, they can make your life pleasant and most beautiful one.

Just Because I'm Feeling Good

Today is the day!...I have achieved one more object from my 'to do interesting list' of launching my art blog.
Starting a new thing is always exciting and that's what I'm now, while writing this.So I got news for everyone...I have an art blog now.

Past two days were really gifted by whatever reason, but it took me to the new world. The world of art with Alisa Burke a freelance painter and mixed media artist from San Diego.Well earlier I use to call myself an artist but after knowing Alisa I can't even imagine myself closer to the word. She is a real artist and I have become her huge fan now.Coincidently I drop down on to her blog and discovered a new world of canvas paintings. It took two days for me to pull back myself in the real world. I was like scrolling over on her blog for whole day, everything was so interesting.

Well as Alisa says paint anything what you think can be painted. So bought a small canvas for myself and will try some creativity on it and renewed my wish list and fixed some new goals for life too. So my mind is full of colors ideas now.What!!!!..... I didn't shared Alisa's blog link....okay

Well here it is http://alisaburke.blogspot.com/ (sorry I don't know why this wordpress link inserting option is not working so can't give you the one click link.)

And here is my art blog's link too http://frommycoffeetable.blogspot.com/

Hoping for some response :)

Take Flight With Colors

1o colors in my life
I wake up every morning with yellow in sky....
Wear Red and Blue there is nothing to shy...

Eat green in breakfast...
Orange in lunch...
Can eat more,if you give me in bunch...

I mix yellow in my blues...
Indigo keeps away my flues...

I like black in my eyes...
I like violet on my nails...
Wear white and I'm ready to sail...

I play with rainbow through out the day...
With white,black and color love
I take flight with these special ten colors everyday...

Akanksha

Colors are the part of my life...can't see myself without colors...There are seven colors of rainbow but it don't include black and white..but if these rainbow colors mixes with each other they can give Black and White in result. If I count number of colors present in my life then it will be number Ten.
Violet,Indigo,Blue,Green,Yellow,Orange,Red,Black,White and the tenth color is a color of love of my loved ones.

If you ask me What would I like to see in glorious color from black and white era?
Then my answer will be nothing...Old is gold just because of its purity only...it is a significance of our advancement and our well-preserved celebrated history.Black and white have the eye of beauty in itself.I can't pull myself away when I saw this b&w picture of Eiffel tower.

I can't imagine famous Madhubala's portrait in color...because it looks beautiful in

B&W history cannot be comparable by colors...like Day and Night...That's why I don't want anything in color from past.

But colors are naturally present in our life.I love the transformation of my written post from B&W dashboard to my colored template. My template is yellow in color which gives vibrant to my thoughts like sun rays, and have some reds, greens, whites and blacks too which encourages me to appreciate my art. This is how I'm me....just me.

Written this post for "Take flight with colors" contest for HP laser-jet printers...

laser-jet printers of HP are well-known for their fast color printing capabilities, which I always dream to have my own...anyways...

This time HP is back with world's smallest laser-jet color printer, which can print both in color and black&white simultaneously. Refer this link for more detail.

@ Rs 99/- Only

If we see today, we spend 100 Rs like a 10 Rs and 1000 Rs like a 100 Rs..in between all these hundreds and thousands number 99 will defiantly lure you and it lured me in the same way...Don't know about the other cities but here in Delhi NCR region almost in every mall this Hair-cut @ Rs 99/- only funda (fact) is ruling. Well you can get a haircut in Rs 99 only..not a bad idea at all(at-least for once) rather spending those hundreds in high-class salons or I must say "Unisex" salons..these days they are in.

Sunday I went to a mall and saw this magical digits over the headed crowd and suddenly I felt my hairs are ready to get a new hair-cut...so we went close to that 6' X 6' Hair-express rectangle box and then I saw one big name is attached to it, which was of Habib's and that was the good news too. So I decided to register myself...but the waiting list was too long, so I got to wait for 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes my turn came and finally I got a chance to experience this whole 99 business.I went in and sat on an empty chair and looked around for my attendant....look around, that box was too small that I didn't realize that my attendant was standing near that chair only...he asked me what type of hair-cut I want ?...I replied any type which suits me except the "step cut"(since then this step-cut came in trend, almost every-time Hair stylist gave me this hair-style only...so I wanted to have something new) But this time also step-cut was on my cards...the attendant said,"Ma'am your hair type is wavy so no any other cut except the step", I gave him a look and said,"How can you say that, if you can't then why are you here".Honestly that time I was missing my usual hair-styler at south-ex...I just have to ask her for a new hair-style, and she gives me a new look with a smile.I also realize almost every people there in that small box sitting to get a hair-cut were giving the same look on to their attendant. The story was same on every chair.

After some seconds of argument, he settled on okay I will try thing....then he took a big hair brush and started brushing my hairs like anything or I'm a horse or something. he goes on cutting and cutting my hairs and gave layers to my front hairs. After everything was done...I looked myself in the mirror and I looked good...not bad.But next time I will prefer my earlier hair-styler only. So bye-bye 99...it was nice meeting you!

Present...wait for it....ation !

Friday night was the party night, just another casual party...So I thought to make it interesting one.

A sms from my friend reached me in the afternoon saying,"are we partying tonight?"....after some minute I reverted it back saying,"Let me check with my husband, what he says".I tried to call him but the network problem which is bothering me from past 2-3 weeks didn't allow me to connect to him....whatever....So,I decided to call it the party day and messaged my friends to come-over for a blast and this is how it started.

5'O Clock in the evening I started thinking for the menu for the eve. I made a list in my mind and began with the main course, which was 'Malai Kofta'.....Ya I was cooking it for the first time, so bit excited for it.But there was something tastier in my mind and then I became functional for the starters.Hot summer season is in the town so the starter should be Chatpata and luscious. So here is the list...

Sevpuri
Chilly cheese Toast
Cheese Finger
Cheese Dip

Lolz it was the cheesy day!!!

Well in limited time these three were the good options to make.

Guest arrived on time and I wasn't ready with my starters...they were waiting for me and calling me to join them fast...I told them,"just wait for the surprise guys..there is something special" and the funny part was I didn't allow any of them to enter in the kitchen..in case they won't ruined my surprise and they were teasing me...Oh! God we were behaving like a kid...it was the real fun.

For the snacks...I was conscious about the presentation...Then I pulled out my beautiful glass tray from its cover and set it for the presentation...My guests were excited too and curious to know what is the special surprise....I kept them on wait for long...and then it's time.

I kept that piece of creativity on the table in front of them...and waited for the reaction....

My guest were very happy.....now tel what's your reaction... ;) :P

Heights of Cruelty

What is cruelty?
something, such as a cruel act or remark, that causes pain or suffering.
And what is the heights of cruelty?
Whatever happened with this dog.......

"Star found buried

"injured Star sits in an animal welfare department vehicl after being rescued "

Dog with it's snout bound by string is found by animal welfare officers in a field near Birzebbuga in the south of Malta May 19, 2011. The dog had been shot, bound and buried alive by an unknown perpetrator.Star was found with more than 40 gunshot pellets in her head and all of her limbs were tied. She was struggling to breathe having been bound, muzzled and buried.
The dog, who has since been named Star, she was recovering from her injuries but 6th June Monday she passed away after having suffered an acute inflammation in her pancreas.

Now she is in better world with God and resting in peace...unlike this cruel world.

RIP STAR!!!!!

"RIP STAR"

Earlier I use to believe yes some people hate animals because they have a fear of them, but after this saddest incident I believe they don't only hate but also want to show their supremacy.I just don't understand what supremacy they want to show on these innocent creatures, who give so much of unconditional love and always want you to throw the ball and they bring it back just for you..to make you happy....were they born with the trait to bring back that ball? They wait for you to come back home, when you are out...they please you when you are sad....I can give the best example of Hachi here....

Hachiko

Remembered for his remarkable loyalty to his owner, even many years after his owner's death.
In 1924, Hidesaburō Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo, took in Hachikō as a pet. During his owner's life, Hachikō greeted him at the end of each day at the nearby Shibuya Station. The pair continued their daily routine until May 1925, when Professor Ueno did not return. The professor had suffered from a cerebral hemorrhage and died, never returning to the train station where Hachikō was waiting. Every day for the next nine years the golden brown Akita waited at Shibuya station.achikō was given away after his master's death, but he routinely escaped, returning again and again to his old home. Eventually, Hachikō apparently realized that Professor Ueno no longer lived at the house. So he went to look for his master at the train station where he had accompanied him so many times before. Each day, Hachikō waited for the return of his owner.(ref: Wikipedia)

"Hachiko: A Dog's Story"

I came to know about Hachi by the film featured on his life story named "Hachiko: A Dog's story".....and till the end of the movie I cried and cried and cried for Hachi.
