Inspired By You...

Yesterday was really hard day for me...got sick and spent whole day on bed, surprisingly my parents came over to see me.... after meeting them half of the sickness of mine gone away.At night me and hubby were invited for a casual dinner,by one of us friend couple Manu and Shivani. We got ready to leave,by the time we were reaching to their place me and hubby had a small chit-chat fight in a car and it didn't end properly after reaching to their place.

The moment we entered in their house we both forget our fight just by seeing their home....which was kept so nicely and decorated with cute-cute smalls things.I like these kind of houses which are clean and kept nicely(point to ponder here is:nicely kept houses reflects some good part of the person's heart).I was so happy and only one word came out of my mouth and that was "beautiful"...in reply they said,"we got inspired by you..the way you use to keep the house".(actually we use to live in same kind of houses before moving to the current one) It was glad to listen that!...but after touring the entire place only one thought came in my mind and that was, now I'm inspired by you guys.

During the snack session they served us some awesome Cold-coffee and great looking Garlic-breads which were luscious and self-cooked by Shivani. Here is a small glance of it(though some of them were already in our stomach)

Everything was good I had a great time and discovered some new traits of the Good-Looking Couple. Thanks a lot guys really appreciate your hard work over this supper.

After leaving their house happily we went in search of our old pal the Rocky(rocky was our street pet dog when we use to live there) we looked for him through out the campus but we didn't find him. He might be hiding somewhere,so we decided to meet him next time and in this way we ended our pending fight also and at the end of the day we slept in peace.

Just Because I'm Feeling Good

Today is the day!...I have achieved one more object from my 'to do interesting list' of launching my art blog.
Starting a new thing is always exciting and that's what I'm now, while writing this.So I got news for everyone...I have an art blog now.

Past two days were really gifted by whatever reason, but it took me to the new world. The world of art with Alisa Burke a freelance painter and mixed media artist from San Diego.Well earlier I use to call myself an artist but after knowing Alisa I can't even imagine myself closer to the word. She is a real artist and I have become her huge fan now.Coincidently I drop down on to her blog and discovered a new world of canvas paintings. It took two days for me to pull back myself in the real world. I was like scrolling over on her blog for whole day, everything was so interesting.

Well as Alisa says paint anything what you think can be painted. So bought a small canvas for myself and will try some creativity on it and renewed my wish list and fixed some new goals for life too. So my mind is full of colors ideas now.What!!!!..... I didn't shared Alisa's blog link....okay

Well here it is http://alisaburke.blogspot.com/ (sorry I don't know why this wordpress link inserting option is not working so can't give you the one click link.)

And here is my art blog's link too http://frommycoffeetable.blogspot.com/

Hoping for some response :)

@ Rs 99/- Only

If we see today, we spend 100 Rs like a 10 Rs and 1000 Rs like a 100 Rs..in between all these hundreds and thousands number 99 will defiantly lure you and it lured me in the same way...Don't know about the other cities but here in Delhi NCR region almost in every mall this Hair-cut @ Rs 99/- only funda (fact) is ruling. Well you can get a haircut in Rs 99 only..not a bad idea at all(at-least for once) rather spending those hundreds in high-class salons or I must say "Unisex" salons..these days they are in.

Sunday I went to a mall and saw this magical digits over the headed crowd and suddenly I felt my hairs are ready to get a new hair-cut...so we went close to that 6' X 6' Hair-express rectangle box and then I saw one big name is attached to it, which was of Habib's and that was the good news too. So I decided to register myself...but the waiting list was too long, so I got to wait for 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes my turn came and finally I got a chance to experience this whole 99 business.I went in and sat on an empty chair and looked around for my attendant....look around, that box was too small that I didn't realize that my attendant was standing near that chair only...he asked me what type of hair-cut I want ?...I replied any type which suits me except the "step cut"(since then this step-cut came in trend, almost every-time Hair stylist gave me this hair-style only...so I wanted to have something new) But this time also step-cut was on my cards...the attendant said,"Ma'am your hair type is wavy so no any other cut except the step", I gave him a look and said,"How can you say that, if you can't then why are you here".Honestly that time I was missing my usual hair-styler at south-ex...I just have to ask her for a new hair-style, and she gives me a new look with a smile.I also realize almost every people there in that small box sitting to get a hair-cut were giving the same look on to their attendant. The story was same on every chair.

After some seconds of argument, he settled on okay I will try thing....then he took a big hair brush and started brushing my hairs like anything or I'm a horse or something. he goes on cutting and cutting my hairs and gave layers to my front hairs. After everything was done...I looked myself in the mirror and I looked good...not bad.But next time I will prefer my earlier hair-styler only. So bye-bye 99...it was nice meeting you!

My Mother is a real beauty to me...

When I was nothing, newbie to this big world, don't even had fingernails and hairs on my head.I was a ambrosial baby who had a cacophony dismal cry,due to which the whole neighborhood was agitated. She hugged me with a benevolent smile and showered all her love on me.She taught me to speak,to walk, to eat, when I grew up a little she taught me nursery rhymes and always dressed me like a doll.Tip to toe she kept me totally in.She wiped my tears when I hurt badly on my knees. I cried loud when she left me to my first school, but I know how difficult it was for her to left me like this.I know how much she pulled herself over those worries, when I was out there in school, and she always waited for me at lunch.I remembered, everyone was envious of my freshly packed lunch, she use to send it for me in college days..full with my favorite Rajma chawal, chole chawal..etc.
She oiled my hair, prepared home-made shampoo and face-pack for me,and groomed me like a princess. She is my mother..she did everything for me.

November 1999, when I saw her in the hospital, lying on the bed....in that blue patient robe..she was so weak and her cheek-bones were out and still she was smiling at me..I couldn't cried in front of her but cried a lot when I back home from the hospital...she is a heart patient...she had her second open heart surgery and then also she was smiling at me.After someday I saw her walking..holding a walker in hand...once she taught me to walk when I was a kid and that day she was balancing her steps in the hospital corridor. The day was my happiest day when she came back to home after recovering of the surgery. She was happy too. That year, me and my brother we both had our board exams, mine was 1oth and his was 12th....we were alone at home and studied without her and dad because he was with my mom.

When my mom came back to home after all those struggling period she had..she was happy to see her home back though it was not that she use to keep it so well. Her face was bright and her red, round bindi was back on her forehead though she was still weak but looked beautiful as she was earlier. My mother never fascinated by all those herbal beauty products in market because she had her own beauty which never need any application, she looks beautiful in her simple way of living..whenever she wears saree she looks perfect in all ways. I always admire her dressing style but didn't get success in opting it properly yet. When I have to get ready for any occasion I think a lot what to wear, what to apply, how to set my hairs and hundred of things goes in my mind..but my mon she just wear saree, her hair sets in a minute and the only thing she like to aaply kajal in her eyes..and she is ready...then also she looks like a goddess. She has her unique taste of simplicity...her style is incomparable.I have seen her in those black and white wedding album of her...she was the bride with all those charming beauty which a 19 years old girl use to have. When I got married I got my makeover at the beauty salon but when my mom got married she dressed and got ready at home only..then also she looked like a princess.I don't remember when she had her last facial..still she have that flawless skin...can you imagine she is in her 50s now!and you can't see a single wrinkle on her face..My mother is the real beauty to me. I admire her and love her and her simplicity a lot and I feel proud that she is my mother.I felt glad when people stated that I looked like my mother on my wedding day...it was the best compliment I could ever get. Love you mom.

How Things Come To You

I still have this feeling that I shouldn't accept that gift from my very good friend R. I don't know exactly why I have this feeling but being a woman I can understand the feeling of choosing something which looks great on you (that too approved by everyone) while shopping and I saw her happy face after she bought beautiful Kurtis for her.I was happy too. After all, whoever said money can't buy happiness simply didn't know where to go shopping.-- Bo Derek...its very true.

Yesterday we went to a mall for weekend chill out with our couple-friends(after marriage it is very necessary to have a couple friend..in this way both the genders can enjoy). We sat in the food-court, had snacks and we just sat like this only for more than an hour. We were discussing over what to do next...go for a movie or stroll over for sometime. Finally we fixed on strolling option....actually we all girls wanted to go to the "Fabindia" showroom of-course for shopping.

I like Fabindia for their pure cotton clothing range for both women and men. We went in and started exploring the stuff of choice. My friend R selected some Kurtis for her, which were actually selected by me and another friend from the racks and R took it over very sweetly (yes she is actually sweet). She tried them over and found them perfect for her (but she was looking stunning in that red kurti) although I was searching something for me but when I tried it...it didn't fit me well. So I dropped the idea of buying anything but concurrently my husband selected one kurta for him.... a beautiful blue cotton kurta...I was amazed!!! because he is never interested in buying anything for himself without my help....but he did it yesterday which makes me more happy.

After half past everyone done with the shopping and we all came out happily from the store....and we decided to call it a day. Suddenly R declared and gifted me one red kurti and said,"this is your wedding anniversary gift from my side". "How come I thought this kurti you bought for yourself and you were looking good when you tried it", I said....but she said,"no this is for you only, even you liked it too". I was like yes okay...but...:) fine. I was happy.... Ya honestly I liked that kurti but more on R...I was just searching kurti same like the red one for me but didn't got any.

And this is how things come to me unpredictably...That red kurti is so special for me now. Thanks a lot R for the lovely gift :D ;) You made my day.. :)

To Do Interesting List-I

Words once spoken cannot be taken back

Very true...but if you express your feelings with some other medium like writing (blogging)..then it can be contradicted(at-least somewhere we have this power). Firstly, I thought of deleting the yesterday's post but then gave a second thought of not deleting the whole but the negative part(thanks to WP del feature)

Yesterday I was in low cotton and wrote the post over that....But today I'm feeling better. Mood swings may be a feeling but it is a big time torture of your loved ones...All of them held me like a baby and they were trying to cheer me up....that was the fun.

I made one promise to myself.....to never underestimate my potential. Instead I will make my interests list every month and will try to carry out them.
So here is my very first,"To do interesting list-I"

To do interesting list-I

1) To Create an Art blog.(will be working very hard on it)

Done 2) Improve Photoshop skills.(love to edit pics, I can do it for you also ;))and also brush up my sketching too

3) To learn basic sewing projects.(yes I really want to stitch my own designed cushion covers)

4) To create an educational blog.(will try to solve people's confusion over many things..say Science n B.ed :D)

Done 5) To follow regular exercise routine (Don't want to shift from M-size to L-size)

I think its more than enough for now....so pals wish me a luck..for my new start !

Let see how lucky I'm today ;)

Regret.....I Can Only Feel

I wish I can use any time travel medium and re-enter my past to proofread my life's story. If that happens then I won't be regretting over or I must say crying over spilled milk.

I know....... I know everything. every aspect of life....deeply understand these sentence,"whatever happens, happens for good, Don't regret over past, You should think positive, see brighter side of the life..blah blah blah...things. Apart from knowing all the good things about life and posting all those motivational quotes on Facebook..... I still feel regret over my life....

I believe m an artist by heart...but never took life so seriously. I always choose the simplest way to move on in the life....but didn't listen to my heart. I have tortured my heart many times...several times.

Being a kind person for animals...I'm the cruelest one for myself. I shouldn't be writing such personal things...but only writing things can treat my depression....depress....Yes I 'm.

I have chosen Biology over Maths...because I hate maths or u can say I can't understand the single line geometry also
but I love biology...Thought to become a doctor but still don't understand physics....

With biotech I turned on to believe my future as a Scientist...but my mind never worked as a researcher.

Though I gained a pretty good knowledge over my taken subjects but still I regret.

The only thing I can see whenever I closed my eyes (imagination) the designs, figures, colors...yes I love to design dresses. From School days I'm drawing and designing dresses...never learned or trained. I love sketching, painting....I don't know where is my first canvas painting today but drawn it beautifully without taking any training...stood at 1st place in school for,"The best entry in senior group...Camel drawing contest"..I can gladly say that.....But then also I didn't listen to my heart.

Learned Photoshop by my own, done many experiments with that...love photography..but now I feel I can do only one thing just to like or love such art but deficient of courage to make it work.

Today I see myself nowhere...I'm lost in all ways....can't pretend to be a happiest person But I have ruined my career Oh! I remember I don't have any career....Slowly slowly m getting weaker and weaker....I can feel m corroding from inside...now only things I see in my imagination I'm erasing all those drawings........

Don't want any sympathy and attention pals...as I said,"writing is my medicine"
